The Fatal Charades

 Hey comic-fans! We're childhood friends and co-creators Bob Little (art) and Darrell Sawatzky (writing) and Johnny Cassidy (Lettering) and we've teamed up with Kickstarter veteran Tardigrade Press to bring you our first comic offering: The Fatal Charades - Issue #1 "Calamity". This book is a dark, high-fantasy tale that is replete with themes of magic, battle, betrayal, comradery, growth, and perseverance against impossible odds.

Follow our main characters through a ruthless palace coup while Jack of Spade's Rest, hero of the Border Wars and now Captain of the Royal Guard, tries to salvage the royal line of a just king and queen through their surviving daughter, Princess Dacia. Jack, Dacia and their band of eclectic heroes including the Rabbit-kin Mage Lull, the Dwarven war-engineer Rook, the Dryad Assassin Smokeshadow and many more seek to keep Dacia alive while rallying the kingdom against the vile Advisor Thrymm and his Generals from across the sea. Dacia herself must reckon with her fate, her grief, and her burning desire for revenge. Prepare for epic combat, bombastic magic, and a vast, mysterious world with a storied past.

This book is our passion project, and it's finished right now and ready for print, so risk to our backers is absolutely minimal. As long-time fans of the comic world and the worlds of fantasy and sci-fi, Bob and Darrell are super-excited to join the ranks of our fellow creators in offering a high-quality book that came straight from the heart of its creators. We fell in love with the process of creating this book, and with the guidance and assistance of our publisher, Tardigrade Press, we hope to offer you many more titles in the future.
