This is Johnny and I’ve seen some of the next steps in this illustration from Sasquatch: Klondike #2 that Chad hasn’t yet shown the world, and I must say it is probably my favourite so far. I can’t wait to see it in the sequential form it will eventually take. However, the way that you could potentially see is even more appealing.

And here’s a look at just the pencilled version…

So…what am I talking about and why the sense of urgency? There are two reasons.

1. We’re putting up a limited run of this page in a fantastic 11”x17” art print on high quality Strathmore Bristol 100lb sheets, numbered and signed by Chad and Johnny, and we’re only producing TEN of them! But the clincher is the price, which we’ve set at $40, and that includes a physical copy of Sasquatch: Klondike #1, variant of your choosing. By industry standards, that’s a really, really good deal. It’s like you’re watching some clown in front of a greasy spoon diner on Bay Street spinning a wooden sign promising “The World’s Best Hotcakes” and yes, you’re skeptical, but when you look up there’s a deeply satisfied patron waddling out of the restaurant proclaiming, “Dang! Those really are amazing hotcakes!” So you go in only to find out that once those hotcakes are gone, they’re gone. But WAIT! There’s an order of them under the heat lamp that some poor schmuck changed his mind about…and you just got the last order! So now that that metaphor is officially dead (dusts off hands), we’re saying they’ll sell like hotcakes at $40 a pop.

2. The crème de la crème for any art aficionado: Chad is selling the original one-of-a-kind piece, hand-inked and signed on 11”x17” Canson Comic Book Art Board. This is the very first original comic page he’s offered up for sale ever, and it’s perfect for any art collector to frame and present. Remember, there’s only one in existence and we’re shipping it like art should be shipped, fortified by a double layer of cardboard reinforcement, then bubble wrapped and placed in a slim box so it will arrive to you in perfect condition…so the price of $500 is something you might regret not spending when you see it up for auction in the future!
