Backer Inquiry: How do I upgrade my pledge with add-ons?
How to Upgrade Your Pledge with Add-Ons
Just a quick update to answer an inquiry we've had from some of our backers...
If you've already backed the project but want to add additional items in a combination that doesn't currently exist on our reward tiers, we've got a way for you to do that until Kickstarter launches their "Add-On" function, which may not happen within the duration of this campaign.
Let's say your current pledge is for the double-signed CBCS Signature Series slab with bonus copy of Cover A...but you also want a copy of both the "Incredible Hulk #1 Homage" and the "Blank Variant". You're not able to click on the "Con Artist Enthusiast Bundle" when you've already pledged, plus you didn't want a second copy of Cover A anyway. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to get exactly what you want, no more and no less.
1. Click on the "Manage your pledge" button.
2. In that section, you can click on "Change your pledge"
3. Consult this list for pricing on individual items. Add the price of the items you want to add to the highest price tier that suits your needs. The reason for this "equal or lesser value" specification is because we'll absorb the extra shipping cost but there are scenarios in which an add-on will increase that shipping costs too much to be free-of-charge.
4. In this section, just add everything together and input that here. In this case, it was $99 for the CBCS tier, $5 for the Blank Variant, and $7 for the "Incredible Hulk #1" homage variant. You would simply type in $111 as your Pledge amount.
After that's all done, you can either message us explaining why there's an extra $12 contribution above and beyond the cost of your reward and we'll adjust your order accordingly, or we'll contact you during the survey process and ask. [One exception is this: If you're purchasing one of the limited-quantity items, it would help ensure we don't oversell them if you made that your new primary pledge.]Thanks again to everyone who has already backed and to those of you who reached out to ask about additional purchases! We've reached 260% of our goal thanks to all of you!
